Sam Smith, otherwise known as scragpie, is a tattoo artist and illustrator based out of Scythe & spade in the east village of Calgary, Alberta.
Tattooing since 2008, Sam's work explores fantasy and mythology, nature, symbolism, and the power in femininity. She founded the tattoo collective Scythe & Spade in 2015 as a friendly and inclusive tattoo space in Calgary.
